On the afternoon of November 26, 2020, Nanjing Union Theological Seminary held its first oral defense of PhD dissertations in the seminary. Two candidates Luo Chengzan and Wang Jiawei, whose dissertations are entitled “The Realization of Incarnation -- Constructing St. Athanasius’ Ecclesiology” and “The Christology of Kathryn Tanner” respectively, had gone through the processes of pre-defense and the blind review given by off-campus experts before the final oral defense.

Recently, as the temperature suddenly dropped in places of Liaoning Province, churches in Liaoning Province donated fruits and agricultural subsidies to Northeast Theological Seminary -- the cradle of clergies in the northeast region of the country -- to express their love and care.

On November 21, 2020, Nanjing Union Theological Seminary began its freshmen orientation.

From November 13 to 14, 2020, Guizhou Bible School organized the autumn sports competition of this academic year.

On the evening of November 12, 2020, Jiangxi Bible School conducted a thanksgiving gala themed by “Congregate in Gratitude, Unite in Love”. It was attended by all the students and faculty members of Jiangxi Bible School, together with the members of 2020 clergy training class.

On November 10, 2020, Heilongjiang Theological Seminary conducted a graduation ceremony for graduates of 2020 at Fangzhou Church of Olive Mount Education Center.

On October 14, 2020, Fujian Theological Seminary held an opening ceremony for the new semester.

On October 12, 2020, Zhejiang Theological Seminary held a service, an opening ceremony, an orientation meeting and a training session for epidemic prevention & control in the seminary’s auditorium to begin the new semester. All faculty and students attended these events.

Affected by COVID-19, Northeast Theological Seminary rescheduled the 2020 enrollment exams on September 16 and 17. 99 candidates took the exams, with 40 candidates for undergraduate program, 19 for transfer undergraduate program and 40 for secondary vocational program.
