The standing committee of the ninth CCC and the seventh TSPM (the fifth joint conference) convened on 28th-29th November, 2017. Elder Fu Xianwei, Chairman of TSPM, presided over the conference. Members of the standing committee attended the conference. Chen Zongrong, Deputy Chief of the State Bureau of Religious Affairs; Wang Zhigang, Deputy Director of the Second Department of the United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee; Dai Chenjing, Director of the Second Department of the State Bureau of Religious Affairs; Ni Zhiquan, Division Chief of the Division of Christianity of the Second Department of the United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee; Song Mingjun, Deputy Division chief of the Division of Christianity of the Second Department of the State Bureau of Religious Affairs, attended the conference.

Rev. Kan Baoping, Vice President and General Secretary of CCC, gave the 2018 CCC&TSPM work report. Rev. Xu Xiaohong, Vice Chairman and Secretary-general of TSPM, reported 'The Five Year Plan for Zhongguohua of Christianity (2018-2022)'.

Deputy Chief Chen Zongrong conveyed the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. He particularly offered significant guidance to the Indigenization and Contextualization of Christianity In China. 

Gao Feng, President of CCC, presided over the closing ceremony.
