​March 1, 2019 was World Day of Prayer (WWDP). This year, the Worship Program was written by the WWDP Committee of the Slovenian Church, with the theme “Come, Everything is Ready!” cited from Luke 14: 15-24.

On 24th February 2019, Tienan gathering point in Danjiang Street, Dunhua City, Jilin Province held a turn-over ceremony to welcome its seventh leader taking over the responsibilities of pastoral care and church governance.

On 20th February 2019, it was a rainy and overcast day in Wuhan, Hubei Province. Rev. Wang Yao’en from Thanksgiving Church along with other church staff and members went to Wu Han Jiuzhen Mount Nursing Home. On behalf of the church, Rev. Wang brought the believers Lantern Festival gifts and held communion service for them.

This year, the Lantern Festival fell on the 19th February 2019, and Mujia Garden Christian Church in Suzhou held a web-based activity to celebrate the festival on that day.

On the morning of 13th February 2019, Xiangshui Church in Nanzheng District, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province held a consecration ceremony.

​On 13th February 2019, Rev. Mao Yajun, President and Chairman of Tianjin Christian Council and committee of Three-self Patriotic Movement led Vice president Rev. Zhang Jinjuan and other church staff and members to visit senior lay workers during the Spring Festival.

From 11th to 18th February 2019, Inner Mongolia autonomous region Baotou Christian Council & committee of Three-Self Patriotic Movement (CC&TSPM) organized an urban-rural church sermon exchange. Church staff reached villages that were suffering from a scarcity of preachers. It was to learn about the spiritual needs of local believers and to help the church enjoy a healthy development.

From 22nd to 25th January 2019, Qilu Theological Research Center of Shandong Christian Council and Committee of Three-self Patriotic Movement (CC&TSPM) held the 2rd Pastoral Care and Bible Study Class. John Chew Hiang Chea, Emeritus Archbishop of Anglican Diocese of Singapore was invited to give a lecture. Prof. Zhao Jie from Shandong University and Prof. Chen Dongfeng from Beijing Jiaotong University were also invited to come for mentoring and discussion. Over a hundred people including leaders
